Bess Kearns grew up in the Atlanta suburb of Stone Mountain, Georgia. She works predominantly in the medium of oils on canvas. Bess has been painting for many years and has sold pieces all over the southeast United States. She has many pieces available for sale as seen on the Available page. 
 
Her influences include a wide range of styles, including landscape, florals and pet portraits. Bess regularly has open shows at various locations for the Franklin Art Crawl, which usually is held the first Friday of each month in Franklin, Tennessee. Bess resides in Franklin, Tennessee with her husband of 33 years, Tim.
Together they have raised two successful daughters, Bonnie and Taylor. She completed her bachelor's degree in Interior Design (Magna Cum Laude) in 1982 from the Atlanta campus of The American College of the Applied Arts, now known as American InterContinental University based in London.
